My Creation: Caprese Salad on a Stick

Nelson @ Home: I got this idea while browsing the cheese section. I saw bocconcini cheese in the form of small balls and in combination with onions and cherry tomatoes skewered on a stick, you get an easy-to-eat caprese salad!
I mixed some extra virgin olive oil with basil with a dash of salt and pepper. I then covered the cheese and tomatoes with this mixture. I blanched the onions to take the bite out of them. Then I put it all together with a toothpick.
Looks great and tastes great. As a bonus it's also dead simple to make! Happy Canada Day!
