IZBA Restuarant
Restaurant: IZBA_Restaurant Toronto
Nelson @ IZBA Restaurant: From the outside, this wooden chalet looks interesting. Inside, it's not so interesting.
This is a polish restaurant that supposedly serves a good schnitzel. I tried the Vienna Schnitzel. It was quite large and covered the whole plate, which was nice. It was the thinnest schnitzel I have ever eaten though. They must really pound it. It is served with red cabbage, potatoes and carrots. All of these seemed to be boiled too much, although that might be the intention.
We also had an extra order of Pierogi. It only came with two and they were a little disappointing.
My mom tried the grilled filet of sole, which was pretty plain, but at least it was a decent portion. It was also very thin and looked deceivingly large.
I don't think I'd go back again, because the prices aren't great and the quality isn't great either.
