Jerk Chicken and Rhubarb Pie

dre: For our last dinner at the cottage, we BBQ jerk chicken with asparagus on steroids and leftover potato salad. The chicken was extremely juicy and had a nice spicy kick.

For dessert, Jen made a rhubarb pie. For those that don't know (and I only learnt about rhubarb that weekend), rhubarb has texture like celery, but unlike celery, it tastes really sour. Jen added a lot of sugar and strawberries and other things and voila! Rhubarb crumble. Very tasty!

  • We use to grow rhubarb in our backyard when I was a kid, but I don't remember eating much of it. How did you make the jerk chicken? Did you have some seasoning?.

  • The chicken was marinated in jerk sauce? And I believe spices were added as well... One side was the non-spicy version and the other was the spicy one, but I think Mike mixed them up when he BBQ-ed them
