Park Hyatt Wedding Beef Station

Nelson @ Park Hyatt: The next series of photos will be from Joyce and Pau's amazing wedding at the Park Hyatt. First of all, the view from the top of the building of downtown Toronto is breathtaking. I arrived late with some parking difficulties and didn't get a chance to try any appetizers, but everyone told me I really missed out. But the main meal was really good. It was set up as three different food stations where you can walk up to get your food. I'll have a separate post for each station.

The first one is the Beef Station: Roast Black Angus Beef Tenderloin with Madeira Jus, Bearnaise Sauce, Horseradish, Mustards, Chutney. Also includes Baguette and mini Kaisers. There was also a salad nearby.

The bread was interesting and fresh. The choices to go with the beef really excelled. I'm not a huge fan of horseradish (far left in 2nd picture), not a fan of mustard (middle bowl) with roast beef and never tried Bearnaise (far left pan in 3rd picture) or chutney (rightmost bowl in 2nd picture) with Roast Beef. This time around I opted with the Madeira Jus (pan on the right of 3rd picture).

They would bring out whole sections of roast beef and cut it on the spot. It was fun watching them cut up the meat and waiting for it to arrive increased the anticipation of tasting the meat.

The last picture is my plate, which looks like something you might have for dinner at another wedding, but this was just one of 3 stations!
