Canadian Lasagna

Restaurant: none

dre: I had most of lasagna ingredients, so I went out to buy some cheese, which is obviously the key part of the dish.

I made 3 types of sauce - Left: Broccoli, spinach, red peppers, shrimps in tomato sauce (seafood) Centre: Broccoli, red peppers, mushrooms, onions in creamy sauce (vegetarian) Right: Ground beef, spinach, mushrooms, onions in tomato sauce (meaty)

Voila! My Canadian flag lasagna! Nelson, Kitty and Richard were over to eat it and I think they liked it? hahah.

Oh yeah, no one understood why I called it Canadian lasagna until I pointed out the red, white, red.

  • Andrea, it was really good. I liked how it took us all a little while to get why you called it a Canadian Lasagna. And good tip on oven only pasta, I'll have to remember that one.
