Congee Queen Donut

Restaurant: Congee_Queen Markham

Nelson @ Congee Queen: On our way back from Montreal, we stopped by Congee Queen. We ordered a ma po tofu, which spicy and had the crunchy picked vegetables (don't know the english name). The next picture is of the requisite congee (chicken, egg and seafood). We also had a beef and chinese broccoli dish. The beef was quite tender and I'm pretty sure it was because of the added tenderizer. The fried rice had a smattering of dried scallop on top.

Lastly, we got a deep fried chinese bread. I've never order this at restaurants, but it is pretty good. The dough has a unique taste and since it's deep fried, it is guaranteed to taste good.
