Cheesecake Attempt #2

Restaurant: none

dre: This was my second attempt making cheesecake from scratch. I tried to make it lighter than my first one because it was really heavy and 1 small slice would make me full. I used light cream cheese, light sour cream, light everything, but it was still pretty heavy. On top of that, after it baked it cracked! :( The cracking didn't make the taste any different, just not as aesthetically pleasing. I made blueberry sauce to top the cheesecake. All in all, it is still really good, but I have to make it when I'm expecting A LOT of people, otherwise it won't get finished.

  • Was it moist? What is the key to making it moist?.

  • I don't remember it being dry. The key is the find a good recipe! haha

I followed the recipe to a T and the cheesecake turned out really well, no cracking. There were some fineprints saying that it you use low fat stuff, the cake is subject to crack.
