Salty Duck Egg Lobster
Nelson @ La Chine Cuisine: I've never seen this dish before. When it first arrived at the table, I couldn't tell what the lobster was covered in. At first I thought it was scrambled egg, but it didn't taste like it. After some discussion, we figured out that it is covered in salty duck egg. This makes for a surprisingly good combination. The saltiness of the egg contrasts with the tender lobster. I wonder if other places serve this!
