Chinese Sausage
Restaurant: none
Nelson @ home: My mom made the first dish with different varieties of chinese sausage, stir fried with some vegetables. I've always liked chinese sausage, probably because it's fatty, salty and slightly sweet, a combination that is irresistible. The second dish is a chicken stir fry with red and green sweet peppers, mushrooms and bitter melon. When I was younger, I never ate bitter melon, but as I get older, I find it more palatable. Lastly, we had a steamed fish. Remember to use the critical ingredient with fish and seafood - ginger!
