Brix Napa Valley Grille & Wine Bar's Fish
Nelson @ Brix Napa Valley Grille & Wine Bar: Kitty and I both decided to get fish. I had the daily special, which was Pan roasted porcini scented pickerel fillet and sea scallop with wild rice farro risotto and wilted spinach topped with a cilantro beurre blanc. I usually don't like cilantro much, but this was good. The scallop was tasty and the fish cooked just right. The risotto was only ok as the wild rice made it too hard. Kitty had Halibut over tomato, eggplant, zucchini and peppers, roasted shellfish tomato broth. I don't remember what the black stuff tastes like or what it is (doesn't say on the menu), so I can't say much about it.
