dre: I haven't been to Moxie's in a while, so it was the restaurant chosen when meeting up with some high school friends.
On the top, Mike had fish (yes, fish!) It was really good! Lemon-pepper halibut: a west coast halibut fillet lightly grilled in lemon-pepper and garlic butter, served on a bed of garlic-mashed potatoes with sautéed spring mix greens.
I had the Chicken Oscar - seared scallops and succulent prawns crown two 5 oz. breasts of grilled chicken, topped with a creamy béarnaise sauce.
For dessert, we had the banana caramel xango (chan'go). It is definitely by far one of the best desserts I've had in my life and I highly recommend it. Creamy, light banana cheesecake wrapped in a pastry tortilla, dusted with cinnamon-sugar and served with warm caramel, ribbons of chocolate and french vanilla ice cream.
