Restaurant: Acropolis Brandon_FL

dre: After an afternoon sight-seeing downtown Tampa and the Aquarium, we went to a Greek restaurant called Acropolis. Among the six adults, we decided to get 4 dishes to share, as well as some appetizers to start. The restaurant had a performance every hour or so where the servers do a dance around the restaurant and them throw napkins everywhere and then of course, the "OPA!" and plate crashing. The girls LOVED the napkin throwing.

There was fresh bread to start.

We got some Saganaki, a cheese flambe. I liked watching the cheese burn, but I didn't try any.
Calamari was very good, lightly battered and very tasty.
I ordered a Chicken Santorini pasta for the girls to share. It was a creamy pasta with lemon wine sauce. I think they weren't used to the lemony taste, so they didn't like it as much as I thought they would. I enjoyed it though!
We got a large plate of grilled meats that included Shish Kabob, Chicken Kabob, Pork Souvlaki and Gyro: a blend of beef and lamb meat. The chicken and pork were very juicy.
My uncle ordered his favourite dish, Moussaka.
My mom got a grilled salmon. It looked small and I didn't have any. The girls liked it, but that's not a surprise.

Solid food and great atmosphere!
