dre: We were craving some hand-pulled soup noodles after a Thanksgiving Day hike, so we headed over to Richmond Hill to Magic Noodle. We met up with Mike's brother, as this place was his recommendation.
He got the Pot Belly Hand Shaved Noodle.
We got some appetizers. This is the Nom Nom Chicken - Stock Poached Chicken Thigh with Spicy Nom Nom Sauce. That isn't very descriptive. Their Nom Nom Sauce is based on peanut butter. This dish is served cold. I liked it, but I didn't love it.
Another cold dish we got on the side was the Juli Jelly - Thin Jelly Noodles, Cucumbers, Carrots, Soy Vinaigrette, Sesame Oil, Chilli Oil. Again, didn't love it, but the noodles were addicting.
Mike got the Magic Beef - Beef Stock, Sliced Beef, Pickled Turnip, Cilantro, Scallions. The hand-pulled noodles are so yummy!
I got the Magic Pork - Chicken & Pork Stock, Pork Chop, Mushroom, Cilantro, Scallions. There was a lot of choice on the menu, and I finally settled for this one because I knew I could share with the girls. The noodles were great. The dish itself is okay. This place is really far, and I wouldn't necessarily come out all this way to eat this again. Only if I was in the area.
