Nelson: Out with my clients they took me into karakoy close to the best baklava place in the world. I think this place, called köskeroglu kebap is the same owner as the baklava place and it was next to it.
Of course we start the meal with bread. This one was like a thick pita, and I'm sure it has a Turkish name, but I did not know it. It was good though as pretty much all bread is excellent in Turkey.
|My hosts had me try a drink I've never had before. It's a yogurt based drink that was quite liquidy. It was a bit too sour for my tastes, but I did finish it.|

|I had the yogurtlu kebap (24TL). I loved this dish. The yogurt adds a lot of flavour and fat to the yummy kebap. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish.|
|One of my other hosts order a kebap dish that looked pretty regular, but the way he ate it stood out to me. He cut up the food and made wraps with his plate. The stringy stuff is cheese. He made one for me and it was delicious. There would be no way I would have known how to eat this dish if I had ordered it on my own. Neat.|
