dre in Vancouver: After church, we went to this restaurant close by that served Northern Chinese food.
The Dan-Dan noodles are my dad's choice. I liked the generous amounts of peanuts that they put on top.
|The Pork Chop noodle soup had hand pulled noodles. I really enjoyed the texture of the noodle a lot.|
|Lan-Zhou Beef Soup had hand sliced noodles. The noodles were flat and short. You can't really see them in the picture, and I wished I scooped them out a bit to show you.|
|Chicken and Clear Noodle Salad was my favourite dish. There was peanut butter sauce on top and I liked that it was served cold. I should learn how to make this at home.|
|We ate a lot of beef rolls on this trip, but these were my favourite. These were also the most expensive ($8).|
|Pan-fried Pork Dumplings. Always a hit with everyone.|
|Of course we had to get the Xiao-Long Bao steamed buns. An enjoyable meal for lunch and we all left pretty full.|
