House of Pepper
Nelson: I used to come to this mall every Saturday after Chinese classes for the food court. More often than not I would order from House of Pepper. And more often than not I would order the general tsao chicken ($5.95). Yes, it's not real Chinese food, but I do like the sweetness and spiciness of this dish. Lots of breading, maybe more than I remember, but the strong flavours are still there. I used to order it with just rice and a small soup, but this time it came with noodles instead.
This is a black been beef dish that was quite smokey. The vegetables were a tad undercooked, but I think Kitty liked the fact that it was so saucy.
