Nelson: I've been looking for a nearby place with good Turkish pide (pizza). I pass by this place near Kipling station quite frequently and always wondered if it's any good. Kitty picked up a hefty meal after work one day and ordered a lot of food. We start with the Soujouk pide with Turkish sausage ($10.99). The crust wasn't that oily and a tad dry compared to others ones I've had. The sausage was not your regular pepperoni which is a good thing, but tasted a bit off. Perhaps it's lamb in the sausage?
We also got the veal and lamb done ($10.99). The bread that came with it was so heavy and hearty. Lots of meat was included under a bed of rice. I really enjoyed the salad that came along with it as well.
So overall, ok Turkish food, not that I'm expert or anything, but considering their prime location, I think I'll be back for more eventually.
