Spring Rolls AYCE
dre @ Bramalea City Centre: Spring Rolls has opened here for a number of years now, but I've never been since I'm not really into overpriced fusion Asian food. What led me to choose this restaurant for my dad's birthday is that 1) he loves AYCE restaurants, 2) the AYCE menu looked decent, so we decided to try it out.
Inside is quite large and the booth we sat at was very spacious. Lots of table space for our many dishes.
The menu is quite extensive and it ranges from Japanese to Chinese to Thai to Vietnamese foods. We wanted to try them all!
The first couple appetizers are what we normally get at a Japanese AYCE - seaweed salad, miso soup, and salad. This was pretty good. Good start.
My parents ordered sashimi and said that it tasted pretty fresh.
Different types of tempura - shrimp and assorted vegetables. Kristen liked the crunchiness of the batter.
Gyoza. These were only okay.
Mike got this Thai Spicy Cucumber Beef Salad. He said it wasn't that spicy, but it was tasty.
There are a couple more posts to the rest of the meal coming up!
