Chi's Congee and Noodle
Nelson: I'm next door of Chi's about once a month and we decided to try it one day. We ordered something simple to baseline. Doesn't get any simpler than congee! This variant has the 1000 year old preserved egg in it and it had a lot of it! The fried fritter (yiao tao) was excellently fried and really good. I like the fritter way better than the congee, so together they complement each other.
The ho fun was burnt, not even smokey, yet the sprouts and onion were too raw. Very poorly cooked dish and unpleasant to eat.
