dre @ downtown Brampton: We headed to downtown Brampton for dinner and was impressed by all the beautiful Christmas lights that decorated Gage Park. We made a note to come back and see the lights again... but that never happened... Oh well, there's next year!
We were going to Fanzorelli's for dinner as I quite enjoyed my time there from Mother's Day back in May.
We had a pizza to share as an appetizer. I chose the Leonardo ($16) - sweet or hot sausage, roasted garlic, sundried tomatoes & mushrooms. Kristen really enjoyed the pizza as she had 2 slices! The restaurant was really nice to cut it into smaller slices for her.
Mike had the same thing as last time, the Rigatoni Piccante ($18) - a fiery chipotle pepper cream sauce sautéed with mushrooms, bell peppers & hot Italian sausage. It was really extremely spicy. I don't remember it being that spicy last time. Mike enjoyed it.
I ordered the Veal Parmigiana ($18) - made with fresh homemade tomato sauce and I got a side of linguine. This was really tasty.
It was really busy that night and all the tables were full. The food is definitely the reason that they have been around for a long time!
