Paris Boulanger in Lisbon
Nelson @Maison_EK: First day in Lisbon and we stopped at this attractive looking shop along a major shopping street in Chiado. Little did we know that we would be back here shortly as we walked the tour backwards. Anyway, we decided to stop and eat here at Eric Kayser Paris Boulanger before the walking tour started. It's from Paris and is not Portuguese, but I'm still going to write about it.
Kitty had the rustic chicken sandwich which was delicious and moist, in part because of the yummy sauce. Also, the tomatoes were great. Yum!
|I had the smoked ham and cheese baguette. Turns out the baguette was rock hard and difficult to eat. It was so crusty I had to chew slowly to make sure I didn't damage my teeth. The meat also didn't slice easily on my teeth so even though it tasted good it was a challenge to eat. Kitty made the better choice this time.|
