dre @ Queen & Kennedy: I've heard mixed reviews for this sushi place. It used to be another Akita Sushi location, until they changed their name (new ownership, I assume) to 520 Sushi. When asking people to compare this place with the Akita Sushi in Vaughan, most people say that the one in Vaughan is much better. Since I don't eat sushi, it didn't matter to me, and I decided to try it out because it is a lot closer to my house.
I really like they use iPads instead of a paper menu. You can order from there and it keeps track of what you ordered, which is really handy when you want to figure out what is missing.
We got our usual favourites - tempura, some rolls, pork and chicken cutlets, gyoza, beef wrapped enoki mushrooms, Japanese fried rice, deep fried tofu, and sirloin beef.
We ordered more, and my parents got sashimi as well, but I didn't take a picture of everything.
In my opinion, the food was good, and I would come again. They also give discounts to seniors, so my parents were pretty happy as well. I'm glad we don't have to trek all the way to Vaughan for AYCE sushi.
