March Work Breakfast

Restaurant: none

dre: It was my team's turn to cook breakfast. We wanted to do the least amount of work for the most food, so we decided on making pancakes. I was iffy about the "least amount of work" associated with pancakes, but it actually didn't turn out bad! I'll get to the pancakes more after a couple of pictures.

We had some yogurt and granola. The Greek yogurt that was purchased was pretty good. I tried the vanilla flavour.

The next item was a fruit medley of raspberries, blackberries, and pineapples with a splash of orange juice.

There was some other fruit as well - cantaloupe, honeydew, more berries, and clementines.

We built a croissant mountain.

The bacon was hard to cook because we tried to bake them in the oven, but the oven never fully heated up and was preheating for a long long time. We ended up having to fry them, which resulted of us smelling like bacon for the rest of the day. There was a lot of fat in the bacon, so that's why they look so sad and shriveled up.

Now the pancakes. We got a HUGE bag of pancake mix from Costco, that only needed us to add water to the mixture. There were some flat griddles that we used and the cooking of the pancakes was quite fast as I only needed to cook them on each side for 2-3 minutes each. We pumped out over 100 pancakes and they were delicious!

This was a fun team building experience and tasty at the end, with enough food for everyone!
