Nelson: We had a quick bite to eat at our hotel called Crowded House before going on the Gallipoli Tour. A very simple meal that of course starts with bread. So dependable.
This is a famous/common Turkish dish of meatball called Kofte. This is a small serving of kofte meatballs that were lamb, but tasted like beef so that even Kitty and Richard could eat it. Sometimes this is served on skewers. The major distinction as far as I can tell is that the meat is ground instead of being layered as is most kebabs.
Dessert was a very simple yet very very sweet melon, like a honeydew. And of course apple tea!
