Ruth's Chris Steak House

Restaurant: Ruths_Chris Toronto

dre: Those that have not been to Ruth's Chris Steak House will not understand that even though these meats look small, they are extremely filling! They are the thickest slab of meat I've ever had in any steakhouse and it was so tender and juicy. I couldn't take pictures from closeup because the restaurant was dark and I felt bad taking too many flash pictures in this fancy restaurant.

But if you want extremely filling fine dining....try Ruth's Chris

From the top - Lobster Bisque, Filet, New York Striploin, Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding

Mmmmm mmmmm goood!

  • I always imagined the presentation to be more fancy...it doesn't actually look that great sitting by itself on the plate. I still haven't tried it yet, as I've heard it's very pricey.

  • yeah, the presentation wasn't too impressive. The steaks comes out sizzling in butter on those plates and just the wonderful smell of it alone makes you forget about the ugly presentation.
Those steak fries in the background were sooo good too. I don't know how they make food so good!
If you go from 4:30-6:30, there's a set price dinner which includes soup/salad, couple of choices for entrees, a side, and a dessert - which is what I got. Mike got that gigantic striploin and we were both stuffffffed. (Including the bread that we ate too - i regret eating so much bread before dinner)
Worth a try definitely. I don't know when I'd go back though. Maybe for my 5 year wedding anniversary or something HAHA
