Last Vancouver Meal
Nelson: Our last morning in Vancouver we decided to hit up some local places before leaving. We visited Solly's Bagelry for some takeout. I had the Pastrami ($8.75) on rye and I really liked how there were sprouts on the sandwich. You don't get that everywhere, but I appreciate when I do.
Kitty had a Lox and cream cheese ($8.5) with wild sockeye salmon. I don't think it's common to get wild sockeye salmon in Toronto, so this is one luxury you can't pass up when you are in Vancouver. Yum!
Lastly, we couldn't resist getting another serving of Menchies. They have since opened in Toronto, but at the time I thought it would be the last time I would be having it. This is the pecan praline and creamsicle. So good!
Bye Vancouver, until next time!
