dre: We went over to N & P's place and they served us an abundance of snacks! P prepared some strawberries and papayas. I haven't had papaya in ages! They were so sweet and yummy. She also made a quinoa salad with cranberries, mandarins, and almonds. That was also very delicious. I brought over my banana muffins.

In the second picture, they served us a savoury snack called bhel, which is essentially puffed rice. Basically, you scoop some onions, cilantro, tomatoes and Sev (a fried snack shaped like thin noodles made from chickpea flour paste) into a bowl, a scoop of the bhel mixture and some sauce (see third picture on the right) and mix it together! There was a hot sauce, a hotter sauce, and a sweeter sauce. The texture was crispy and I liked the salty, sweet, and spicy taste of everything mixed together.

Also, there were some scones and cinnamon buns (not shown) to stuff our faces that afternoon.
