Ken's Artisan Bakery
Nelson @ Portland: On our friend's Loretta's recommendation who lived in Portland for a few years, we went check this place out for breakfast.
Kitty tried the sausage quiche ($4.00), I normally don't like quiche that much, but this one was better than most. Crispy outsides and soft, tasty insides made for a decent quiche. Well made.
I tried the Ham, Thyme and Gruyere Croissant ($4.25), which was nice and crisp on the outside, but very soft on the inside. The gruyere cheese was pretty light, but overall a good (breakfast) croissant. Yum!
Good recommendation from Loretta, this was a nice, cute shop with good food.
