Yokohama Chinatown

Restaurant: Japan

Nelson @ Yokohama Chinatown: Because we were at Yokohama Chinatown around lunch time, we stopped at a Chinese restaurant for a snack. We had some mapo tofu, some side dishes, chicken cashew, fried rice, 1 siumai, fake shark fin soup (I hope it was fake, I didn't have any regardless) and some tofu dessert. Despite having Japan's (and one of the world's) largest Chinatowns, I never felt that it was really Chinese. Maybe it was too clean. The food wasn't very good either, with the tofu spicy but not tasting too good and the rest of the dishes were not very good, except for the chicken, which was decent. Maybe it was just the place we picked, but I didn't have a good impression of Chinese food in Japan. Oh well, not a big loss.
