Fox and Feather

Restaurant: Fox_and_Feather Ottawa

Nelson @ Ottawa: One last meal before leaving Ottawa and leaving the wife behind. We ended up here because it was close by, but it was pretty empty and didn't look too inviting from the outside. Not sure what we were thinking as going to a bar in the morning isn't such a good idea.

Kitty had the Swiss Omelette with spinach, onions, muchrooms and swiss cheese with 3 eggs served with homefries, toast, preserves, fresh fruit and coffee ($9.50). The omelette was decent, but a bit dry. The potatoes were obviously frozen making for some lazy almost inedible home fries.

I had the French toast and eggs, with 2 slices and 2 eggs, toast, preserves, fresh fruit, syrup and sausage ($10.99). I was disappointed with the french toast as it was really bready. Also sausage wasn't very good. The fruit was not ripe (except for the pineapple).

Overall a bad breakfast, lazily made without any attention to detail and definitely would not recommend.
