Agave Azul - Amazing Corn Tacos!
Nelson @ Orlando: I'm no expert on Mexican food, but the corn tortillas blew my mind. Normally at Mexican restaurants, the tortillas will be there and I will eat and not think twice about it. But here, they stood out and became the highlight of the meal.
I had the Al Pastor Street Tacos, a Mexican staple, marinated pineapple adobo pork inside three homemade masa corn tacos, topped with onions and cilantro. Served with charro beans and hot salsa on the side. The masa corn tortillas were made fresh on the spot and I could tell. They were very soft, very finely textured and were tasty. The freshness was evident in the delicate texture and almost brittleness of the tortillas. I've never had anything like it before and have new found respect for Mexican food. The pork and pineapple inside went perfectly with the tacos. Best taco I've ever had!
The beans were decent too and the free nachos were deep fried goodness coming with two delicious sauces. Probably helped because I came here with a Mexican, but this was actually discernibly good Mexican food.
