Square One Food Court - Villa Madina & Bourbon St. Grill

Nelson @ Square One: Once again convenience trumps adventurousness since Square One is within walking distance and we were here picking something up. Not that great selection here, but I decided to try out Villa Madina's Beef and Chicken Shawarma Plate ($8.99). They have an appetizing display of salads and I went for the Fattoush salad along with the potatoes, tzatziki, rice, hummus and included pita. For fast food, this was pretty tasty and a fairly large portion. I'm not a good judge of Mediterranean cuisine, would go for this again.

Kitty of course couldn't resist the Bourbon Street Grill. Unfortunately the corn and noodles at this location were a little disappointing in taste. But as always the blackened chicken doesn't disappoint! They should really start a food truck selling just this item, I think it could do well!

  • We know the owners of the franchises in a couple of malls... They are Chinese so that would explain why some of the Bourbons are run by Chinese people!
