Breakfast at Skydome

Restaurant: Arriba Toronto

Nelson @ Skydome: A bit strange to be eating breakfast at the Skydome (aka Roger's Center), but we were staying at a suite here for Tim's Bachelor Party.

There was a nice selection of 6 cereals and 6 different choices for dried fruit/nuts! Great variety, but I didn't have any, instead I went straight for the bacon, sausage, eggs and home fries. I really liked the bacon here because it was cooked to a nice crispness, but not burnt.

I had a bit of porridge (not pictured), because their dried fruit/nut spread was so good. But the best thing they had here were these waffles. They were somehow sweet with maple syrup/sugar, but cooked so that they were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I've never had waffles like this and it was almost like eating a donut, but I thought these were amazing. I had to have seconds.

The fruit was only ok, and they had milk and yogourt, which I passed on. I don't know why, but I dislike the taste of yogourt and almost never eat it. The selection of breads was quite large too including some muffins, croissants, danishes, bagel, english muffins and white, rye, brown bread and mini cinnamon buns!

So pleasantly surprised with their breakfast and I really loved the waffles!
