Nelson @ North York: Back here again for Richard's 30th Birthday and this time he has to do 30 shots. This time he only took mixed shots and recorded the number on his arm, so he reached his goals quite easily, but it was still an impressive feat. I didn't take many photos, but we did try some items that we didn't have before.

The first pic is of the Jok-Bal, a smoked pork hock. Very fatty pieces with a nice slightly smoked taste, this was enjoyable to eat. I still think the best dish here is the crispy spicy chicken (not pictured) as I could eat that all night long.

The next shot is a Bulgogi, which is decent here, but I have had better at other places.

The picture with the watermelon has soju + watermelon juice inside. One of my favourites for sure and I like how they include some fresh fruit as well. They made it really foamy as well which I thought was a tad strange.

Dumplings and spicy cabbage in the Korean spicy sauce. This we almost always get because it's only like $1 or $2 extra beyond the mixed fruit soju.

Last pic is of the pineapple soju, which was also foamy and tasted a little strange. Maybe it was because of the foam.

  • Easily. He'll have to 31 straight shots this year.
