Boka - Korean Fried Chicken better than Southern.
Nelson @ St. Marks: This time it's a Korean Bar for our second dinner. Of course we had a bit of soju and this one is my favourite - watermelon! I love how it' served inside a real watermelon, but either it was mixed really well or the soju concentration was low.
I've never had Korean Fried Chicken, but one taste and I was hooked. The American South may claim to have the best fried chicken, but they have some serious competition now. This incredible chicken is very crispy, yet not too oily. No burnt flavours, no oily flavours, just chicken and their sauce. There are two types you can order, spicy and garlic, and while both are excellent, I prefer the spicy one, even though most people at the table thought it was too spicy. It's always fun to experience something new even after trying so many things. Amazing.
Rounding out our second dinner is some yam fries (mediocre, sugar is not necessary and very dry) and chap chae.
