CC Creations Cake (and Tasting)

Restaurant: CCCreations Vaughan

Nelson: We picked CC's Creations for our wedding cake, which is a nearby Italian dessert and cake maker. I had a lot of input into the cake design and of course picked a Mario themed cake. We had to go out of our way to find the perfect Mario figurines to top the cake with. We ended up buying a Super Mario Chess Set just for this purpose that not only had Mario and Princess (with our added veil) to top the cake with, but also a few bonus ones. It was worth going to the extra trouble considering how the cake turned out!

Fortunately we had a chance to taste the cake flavours beforehand and we tasted about 6 different flavours including chocolate hazelnut, chocolate, chocolate with butter cream, coffee, lemon and strawberry shortcake. I love chocolate hazelnut, so we had to pick that one. The other one that really tasted unique and yummy was the lemon cake so we also picked that one. The cake tasted quite good and we were happy with how it turned out. In the end, I think CC gave us extra flavours since the very top of the cake was strawberry shortcake. The very bottom was chocolate and the layers in between I have no idea since they were eaten at the wedding. We were able to bring a lot home and we spent the next few weeks giving it out and eating it ourselves. It was wonderful!

I recommend CC's Creations for anyone looking for a wedding cake. Great taste, great service and great presentation, there's not much more you could want!
