Can't go to the States and not eat at Cheesecake Factory!
dre in Danvers, MA: At the mall nearby, there was a Cheesecake Factory!! I have a story about the mall. It is possibly one of the worst designs I've ever seen. First, it is W shaped, so you have to watch through one end of the mall to get to the other. Secondly, there are no main doors on the side of the mall where we parked, which happened to be the OTHER side of Cheesecake Factory. We finished eating dinner way after the mall closed, so we were not able to leave the way we came in, and instead, had to walk AROUND the mall outside in the freezing cold.
Anyway, to the food. I don't know what possessed us to order an entree each. Maybe we were extra hungry, but I think most of us barely finished half our meals. Their menu on the website is quite extensive and I can find what we ate very easily :)
I had the Factory Burrito Grande - A Monster Burrito with Chicken, Cheese, Cilantro Rice, Onions and Peppers. Served with Guacamole, Sour Cream, Salsa and Black Beans. A monster it was!!! I only ate maybe half of the burrito and I was stuffed.
Mike ordered a special, and I remembered it was Vietnamese inspired. I wasn't a big fan of this dish, as it is Asian fusion. Even the rice was weird.
Gerald ordered the Orange Chicken - Deep Fried Pieces of Chicken Breast Covered in a Sweet and Spicy Orange Sauce. Served with White Rice and Vegetable.
Denise had the Shepherd's Pie - Ground Beef, Mushrooms, Carrots, Peas, Zucchini and Onions in a Delicious Sauce Covered with a Mashed Potato-Parmesan Cheese Crust. I think her dish was the tastiest. I want to order this the next time I come!
Since we had so many cheesecakes at lunch during Frank's wedding, we didn't have any cheesecakes for dessert.
