Nelson: I wanted one nice meal, but couldn't think of anything. Luckily Leo got help from his brother and came up with the perfect idea: Brazilian BBQ! It's buffet, it's meat, it's a bachelor party - it's perfect.
We sat down at the table and right away they served a veal carpaccio appetizer. A quality dish at any other restaurant and it just comes out right away. The start of some excellent service for the night. The bread was baked with cheese and was excellent. And then the buffet portion.
This is to counterbalance the meaty part of the meal, but this buffet is already in a class of its own. I would have been happy just eating the buffet. I'll list out some items starting with the third pic: fish in a stew, beets, stir fried vegetables, grilled vegetables (portobello was good), fried cauliflower, french bread with olives and cheese, full salad bar, not sure what the green dish is and I don't remember what it tasted like, some sort of bean salad, a fish rice quiche (interesting), calamari salad, octopus salad, shrimp, sushi (crazy!), sushi rolls, cucumber salad, potato salad, tomato + boccaccini, chicken salad, etc. Quite an impressive array of dishes and we haven't even gotten to the meats yet!
Stay tuned for Part 2!
