Turtle Jacks Got Fancy

dre @ Courtneypark & Hurontario: I didn't know Turtle Jacks got so fancy. When Peter suggested going to Turtle Jacks to drink wine, I pictured myself in a sports bar with wings and a glass of wine, which I thought was weird. However, he assured me that they upgraded, and lo and behold, it's like Moxie's! All their sports bars got rebranded to Tee Jays Sports Kitchen, and they have made Turtle Jacks more high class. Unfortunately, "high class" means fancy plating and more expensive food.

We ordered nachos with our bottle of wine, and they were very disappointing. There were hardly any any toppings and cheese under the first layer, and they used either squeeze cheese or too much cheddar for my liking. I did not like them.

Someone had ordered wings and I was disappointed with the amount of wings and the price for them.

Good thing is, their desserts were still very delicious! Mike and I ordered a Fire and Ice, which is deep fried battered ice cream on a waffle. That was delicious and decently priced for dessert. Denise ordered the Skor brownie. I've had that before, and it's pretty good as well!

Definitely would consider coming back for dessert, but not the food. Too bad, I really liked it when it was Turtle Jacks, the sports bar.
