Celebrating at Milestones!
dre @ Weston & Hwy 7: We went out to celebrate Lawrence's job promotion! I had a hard time deciding what to get, and when the waitress came, I changed my mind last minute when I saw the Seasonal Inspirations Menu.
I decided on the Braised Beef Papardelle - Papardelle pasta tossed with tender braised beef, roasted trio mushrooms, Roma tomatoes and baby wild Arugula in a creamy Fontina cheese sauce. Paired with toasted herb and garlic foccacia breadstick. I really like papardelle pasta, and really, that was the only reason I chose this. It was really delicious, and I would recommend this if it is still on the menu.
Mike got the Spicy Harissa Chicken - Chilli spiced chicken breast inspired by Tunisian region of North Africa. Layered with creamy Fontina cheese and drizzled with a lemon mint yogurt. Paired with a brown rice, sweet potato and parsnip, pilaf and served with a side of seasonal vegetables. This was pretty spicy from the couple bites I tried.
Lawrence got the Grilled Chicken Penne Asiago - Roasted Italian tomatoes, chicken breast, fresh basil, spinach and Asiago cream.
Kaleb got Slow roasted AAA Prime Rib.
