dre: We were invited to Brian and Shirley's place where they cooked us a spectacular meal that included plenty of vegetables, salmon, butternut squash soup, steak (cut up Chinese style). I brought over an apple crumble cake that I made at home.

Everything was really tasty. Brian inspired me to make butternut squash soup, so I tried his recipe a week after, but my version didn't taste as good.
