Gerald and Denise's Wedding
dre @ Otello's: I have been looking forward to this wedding for YEARS! Otello's is a nice venue. Their wedding was small and cozy and very "them". There were a couple of appetizers floating around, but I didn't have too many. I think the servers were hiding.
For the appetizier, we had Bowtie Pasta with Roasted Red Pepper and Creamy Gorgonzola Sauce. I liked this dish, but I love pasta. The picture looks small, but I remember it was a fairly sizable portion.
Mike had the Slow Roasted Striploin of Beef with Red Wine Jus. I had the Grilled Chicken Supreme with Sun-dried Tomato Cream Sauce. Narinder had the vegetarian meal, which looked like something eggplanty. All mains were served with Mushroom Rice Pilaf and Maple Root Vegetables and Yellow Beans.
The bite of steak I had was really delicious. I found the chicken a tad dry, but the sauce was really really tasty. I was pretty full after I licked my plate clean.
The dessert was really good too - Ice Cream Crepes! Later on in the night, there were patries, fruit and wedding cake!
It was a really fun night! Congrats!
