Hakka Food In Scarborough
Restaurant: Lin_Garden Toronto
dre @ Pharmacy and Warden: Lemuel once drove all the way to Mississauga to eat Hakka food @ Eddie's. We found out about this place, Lin Garden, through different resources and decided to go there for lunch one day.
The place is a hole, really small, but full of people for the lunch crowd. Lunch specials are cheap - $6 gets you a spring roll/soup/tea and a dish off their lunch menu.
I chose a shrimp fried rice noodle. I don't think it's really a Hakka dish, but I hardly get to order shrimp when I'm with Mike, so I thought I take advantage of him not being there. Lemuel got a spicy chicken chili rice.
Both dishes were huge and pretty greasy and good. It's a very good deal for the amount of food you get.
