The Clubhouse

Restaurant: Bistro_At_Riverstone Brampton

dre @ Queen and McVean: Near our place there is a golf and country club. Inside the clubhouse there is a restaurant and a gym. It used to only be opened for members, and members consisted of people that bought these executive homes around the golf course. I guess the restaurant decided that it would make more money by opening to the public, so we went to try it out.

This picture shows 2 separate meals that we ate. The prices are quite reasonable, I say even better than East Side Marios for the quality and quantity!

They serve 2 types of bread. One is regular, the other has olives in it. We also ordered Pulled Pork Nachos. I can't say that the pulled pork really added anything to the dish, but I still enjoyed it.

I had the wing special that night - honey garlic, my favourite. The fries, though, were delicious! They were fresh cut fries, very tasty and hmmm.. I can't stop thinking about them. Mike had a creamy chicken pasta. It tasted good from the small bite I tried.

On another night, we came back and this time I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. I was surprised that it came in naan bread, but if I read the description properly, I would have known. It was small, but if you eat it slowly enough, it is quite filling.

Mike got the clubhouse sandwich. It was HUGE! Three layers of sandwich with bacon, chicken, veggies. This sandwich was delicious!

I am glad this place is close to our house. I have a funny feeling that we were be going there more often.
