Nelson @ Orlando Downtown: This fancy steakhouse (ie nicely decorated and good atmosphere) is pretty pricey if you consider that all the sides are extra, but we opted for a dish that included sides and saved some money.
Chateaubriand for Two or More: Center cut filet mignon, sauteed vegetables, asparagus & three cheese au gratin potatoes.
I learned from Julia Child that Chateaubriand is from the big end of the ternderloin, which is the most tender cut of beef. It is often cooked whole and served to two or more people. They brought out the cooked meat and cut it in front of us. This was absolutely delicious. It was extremely tender and melt in your mouth. The vegetables were well prepared and the au gratin potatoes were delicious and you could taste it was packed with calories. A wonderful meal overall.
