What to Eat in Santa Monica?

Restaurant: Los_Angeles Louises_Trattoria

dre in Santa Monica: Originally wanting to go to a place called Father's Office to have burgers, we arrived to see that they were only opened for dinner. We walked around the area, looking at the menus of the other restaurants and checking reviews from Yelp to see which one to go to. The highest rated one was Louise's Trattoria, so we went to try it out.

The foccacia bread was amazing here. We got so many refills and took the leftovers home! I think Alice Fazooli's has equivalent type of bread. So delicious!

Mike had the Brentwood Club - Thinly sliced Grilled Chicken Breast, Smoked Applewood Bacon, Avocado & Monterey Jack Cheese topped with Roma Tomatoes & Romaine Lettuce. Finished with Garlic Aioli.

Dara has the Sesame Ahi Tuna - Seared Ahi Tuna on Mixed Greens with Fresh Cilantro, Scallions, Mandarin Oranges, Roasted Bell Peppers & Wontons. Tossed in our Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette. This salad was HUGE!

I got the Lunch Special Pizza - 2 toppings of my choice. I had asked for mushrooms and green peppers. However, the waiter heard pepperoni and out came this pizza. I was trying to be healthier (yes, pizza = healthy) by going green. They apologized and set out to make another one while offering the existing pizza to nibble. I ate one slice of the pepperoni one, and only 1 slice of the veggie one and I was stuffed! The pizza and the bread were our breakfasts the next morning.
