Niagara Ice Wine Festival 2010

dre in Niagara-on-the-Lake: The 2010 Ice Wine Festival was underway back in January. We chose wineries based on food that would be served this time and I got to know names of more wineries in the Niagara region and now recognize them at the LCBO!

Strewn served a chowder. The chowder was a bit on the small side, but warmed us up.

Konzelman served those chocolate shot glasses with ice wine in them. As well, they were having a BBQ so we had pulled pork sandwich and a boar sausage with chips.

Jackson-Triggs served us a hard biscotti.

Riverview had a chocolate fountain with marshmallow, biscotti, and banana to dip.

Lastly, Coyote Run had Vietnamese spring rolls.

The ice wine was all good and by the end of it all, we wanted to take a nap.
